A different
kind of relationship
with your doctor.

Founded in 2007, Texas Family Physicians has served the Austin community for nearly two decades. In 2018, Dr. Molina moved the practice to a membership model — choosing depth of care over volume. Fewer patients, longer visits, and a practice that genuinely knows you.

My effort and my decision is such that this change will embrace and support the great majority of my current patients. — Dr. Martin Molina, MD

Medicine for your lifestyle

Comprehensive care, across every chapter.

Primary & Preventive Medicine

Comprehensive care for adults and families — annual physicals, chronic disease management, sports and sleep medicine, along with acute visits, screenings, and immunizations. We also provide dedicated men's and women's health services, including hormone evaluation and management, helping patients address concerns like fatigue, mood changes, low libido, and menopause. Because our membership model allows for longer appointments, we have time to look beyond the immediate concern: reviewing labs in context, thoughtfully adjusting treatment plans, and catching what shorter visits often miss. Prevention isn't a checkbox here — it's a conversation that continues across every visit.

Cancer Risk & Genetic Testing

An estimated 5–10% of cancers are tied to inherited gene mutations — and most people who carry them don't know it until a diagnosis forces the conversation. We offer hereditary cancer screening and counseling for patients with a personal or family history that raises concern. Results are reviewed with you in a dedicated visit — not handed off in a portal message — so you understand what they mean for your screening schedule, your treatment options if cancer is ever diagnosed, and your family members who may share the same risk. Knowing early changes what's possible: earlier surveillance, preventive options, and decisions made with information rather than urgency.

Virtual Visits & Telehealth

Established patients can connect with the team through our secure athenahealth portal — for follow-ups, prescriptions, lab review, and care that fits a real life. A virtual visit is the right fit for medication check-ins, reviewing recent labs or imaging, managing stable chronic conditions, addressing minor acute concerns, and conversations that don't require hands-on examination. You'll see the same provider you see in the office, with the same time and attention — just from your kitchen, your office, or wherever the day finds you. When something genuinely needs an in-person visit, we'll tell you, and we'll get you scheduled quickly. Telehealth isn't a replacement for the relationship — it's an extension of it, built for the weeks when life doesn't pause for a waiting room.

Metagenics & Lifestyle Medicine

Our clinic partners with Metagenics for evidence-based supplementation alongside personalized nutrition, sleep, and movement guidance — care that goes beyond the prescription pad. Lifestyle medicine isn't a soft alternative to clinical care; it's the foundation most chronic disease is built on, and the lever most often left unpulled in a fifteen-minute visit. We work with patients on the things that actually move the needle over time: what you eat, how you sleep, how you move, how you manage stress, and which targeted supplements are worth taking — and which aren't. Recommendations are matched to your labs, your history, and the life you're actually living, not pulled from a generic protocol. The goal isn't to add more to your routine. It's to help you feel meaningfully better, with fewer prescriptions, more energy, and a body that holds up to the years ahead.

My staff and I strive to provide excellent medical care with the attention and service you'd expect from a small-town doctornot a clinic clock.
